Stewardship

Scripture calls us to give the first fruits of our harvest to the Lord, in the form of a 10% tithe. This is a difficult call for many people, but a strong reminder that all things come from the Lord.  However, we should not wait until we can give the full 10%, instead, we should simply just begin. Start with giving one hour of what you earn each week, and go from there.  If you are already giving, ask yourself "How can i give an extra hour from the fruits of my labor each week."  Remember, God does not need us to give.  It is actually the giving that forms us.
