Outreach Ministries

Angel Gift Market

Instead of the usual Christmas gifts to family, friends, associates, and teachers, you can give gift certificates in their honor and help support our local Outreach Ministries. Market will be held on the first weekend in December each year.

AngelReach Mentoring 

A circle of 8-10 people join together for a learning opportunity grounded in God’s call to local and global action.  We partner with Angelreach Ministries to mentor and guide a young adult who has aged out of the foster care system and walk with them for one year.

Conroe Soup Kitchen

The Trinity “Soupers” cook and serve lunch to approximately 80 to 120 adults and children on the third Thursday of each month at the Salvation Army in Conroe. Transportation is available.

Disaster Response

Volunteers are necessary at critical times to respond to the needs of our church members and larger community. An emergency response plan is in place to mobilize and educate those interested in this project.

Family Promise

Trinity hosts families who are homeless and working toward independence through the Family Promise program by offering food, lodging, transportation, and fellowship four times a year. The families stay at Trinity for one week during which approximately 50 volunteers are needed to help provide a caring atmosphere for these families in transition.

Interfaith of The Woodlands—Food Pantry

Prime Time Guys hold a food drive every Sunday for the Interfaith Food Pantry.  Once a year, Trinity builds a Wall of Compassion (boxes of food) for the Interfaith Food Pantry.  Trinity is a Community Member of Interfaith in order to coordinate community outreach.

Interfaith Giving Tree For Families and Seniors

In coordination with Interfaith, Trinity members donate gifts at Christmas time to those in need.  This is the oldest and longest running outreach project at Trinity.

Kids Hope USA

Kids Hope mentors spend just one hour per week reading, talking, playing and listening to a child at school. By helping the child feel loved and valued, they help the child to learn, grow and succeed.  Volunteers from Trinity mentor children at Glen Loch Elementary School just around the corner.  

Lord of the Streets (LOTS)  

The work and mission of Lord of the Streets Episcopal Church and Community of the Streets Outreach is to minister to the spiritual, emotional, physical and social needs of individuals living in Houston who are homeless, in crisis or in transition.    LOTS is committed to providing supportive services to meet the needs of homeless individuals and families.  These services include healthcare, food, clothing, personal hygiene kits, services to obtain identification, case management for employment, counseling and substance abuse services, and providing referrals to emergency shelter and permanent housing programs.

Montgomery County Jail Ministry

The Chaplain’s Office of the Montgomery County Jail is responsible for serving the spiritual needs of the inmates. It exists to provide religious materials, worship services, counseling, intercession and rehabilitation for jail inmates (English and Spanish speaking). The program is ecumenical and the volunteers come from the local churches. They also serve to help meet the spiritual needs of the staff and the families of inmates.

Prison Mentoring Ministry

Volunteer mentors for prisoners at TDCJ correctional institutions who are preparing for their release and return ot the community.  The program is part of the volunteer ministry of the Chaplin services at selected TDCJ institutions. Refugee Ministry

Working with Episcopal Migration Ministries, Trinity is responding to the needs of refugees around the world and welcoming those being resettled in the Diocese of Texas.

Spirit Lake Nation, North Dakota

Trinity partners with St. Thomas Episcopal Church on the Spirit Lake Reservation in North Dakota.  Through this partnership we have built lasting relationships in the community. Together we are developing a growing program to invest in the lives of the youth and adults.

Trinity Veterans Fellowship

Veterans provide books, magazines, toiletries and other items to go to the VA Hospital.  They also raise funds for Fisher House which serves the military, veterans and their families in time of need.

Meeting space at Trinity Episcopal Church is available for community groups and civic organizations. Some of the groups who meet at Trinity are:
