Mid-week

Dear Trinitarians,

Are you looking for a way to deepen your relationship to Christ and His Church?  Are you looking to become a little more discipline in your Christian walk? Are you seeking a way to encounter the power of God which moves to a new place in your relationship to Christ? Do you have a need for guidance, discernment, or the peace of Christ during the week?

I would like to lift up for your consideration the Wednesday celebration of the Holy Eucharist (Holy communion).  Receiving the Sacrament mid-week can be a powerful encounter with the saving grace of God and a way to recollect, in the middle of the week, the grace we walk in every day.

We have two celebrations of the Holy Eucharist on Wednesdays.  There is a morning service at 10:00:  It is a simple said service that lasts only a half-an-hour. Our Wednesday evening service is held at 7:00 and it has the added sacrament of anointing (for healing and wholeness), also 30 minutes.

You may have received a card in the mail from the Parish Office informing you that we are praying for at the Wednesday services.  Each week, we pray for 10 families from our parish directory.  You are also invited to attend that service.

Weekday services are an important part of our Anglican Tradition.  It is a faithful way to stay rooted in the everyday Grace. It helps us to remember to offer ourselves to Christ daily.  It is a way to encounter the Sacramental Grace of Christ in the middle of our week.

Peace,
Father Gerry+
