Children's Discipleship
Trinity Episcopal Church values and nurtures children. Children are loved, encouraged and directed towards a relationship with Jesus Christ. We are committed to partnering with parents to show what a life of Christian discipleship looks like.
Christian Formation
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
Sundays during the 9:00am and 11:00am service
The children come to the sanctuary with their families. Before the readings, they exit with the Children’s Leader to attend an age-appropriate service. Children’s Liturgy of the Word basically follows the liturgical service for the day, but on a child’s level. The children return to the sanctuary to be with their families for Communion. All children between the ages of three and eight years are invited to attend.
1st Sundays All Church Formation
On the 1st Sunday of the month from 10:15-10:50am
Intergenerational formation using hands on activities. Lessons are based on the gospel reading of the day.
4th Sunday KFC Community
On the 4th Sunday of the month from 1:00-2:30pm
A time of prayer, devotion, service, games and snacks.
Online Formation
New every Wednesday. www.FormationAsAFamily.com
Age appropriate materials to help introduce the gospel lesson for the week coming up.
Junior Daughters of the King
1st and 3rd Sundays from 1:00-2:30pm
This religious order for girls allows them to experience life that is filled with prayer, service, community and fun.
Come to Communion
All baptized children are welcomed at the communion table. They may receive both bread and wine. If you do not wish to have your child receive, ask your them to simply cross her/his arms over her/his chest when coming forward, and they will receive a blessing.
Music, Art and Drama Week
July 18-22 9:00am-3:00pm
Dinner and Performance on Friday, July 22 at 6:00pm.
