Teens in Training Mission Trip
Incoming 4th through outgoing 6th graders are invited on this mission trip. We will be servicing Houston with Christ Church Cathedral and their Urban Experience group August 5th-7th. Please come to our parent meeting on June 27th at 7pm in the office conference room at Trinity for more information. Contact Molly or Liz L in the church office for questions.
New Bible Study: Elija and Elisha
In this 8 week study which begins with 1 Kings 12, we will explore the role of prophets in the Old Testament, while making connections to our own lives through the study of text, pictures, maps, timelines and more. Tuesdays – 11AM and 7PM Dates: June 11, 18, July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, August 7. Susan Gerding, retired bi-vocational priest, will be the facilitator.
Welcome Series for Inquirers and New Members
A new 5-week series continues this week, designed to acquaint new members and inquirers with Trinity Episcopal Church. We meet every Sunday between the 9AM and 11AM services, starting at 10.15AM. Summer Choir
Summertime and the singin' is easy! Come join with Trinity Choir for SummerSing at 11:00AM! Each Sunday in June and July we will meet in the music suite at 10:00AM to prepare the morning hymns and offertory anthem. There is no weekly commitment - the music is easy, the company is great and the rewards are everlasting. We look forward to singing with you!
Home Alone? Then Phone a Friend
There are a number of folks at Trinity, particularly older ones, who could use a phone call each day to say hello and make sure you are all right (You may have family close, but perhaps they are too busy to call you every day.) Spiritual Formation School
Spiritual formation school accepting applications. You may be called to listen to another on his or her spiritual path. You may be called to teach workshops or lead quiet days. Or, you may be called simply to work on the transformation of your own soul and see where God leads you. FIND, the diocesan school for spiritual formation, now is offering programs in both spiritual direction training and in spiritual formation for ministry. Applications will be accepted until June 30. Trinity Kids' Corner Needs
Kids Corner is in need of 4 gutters only needs to be about 6 ft long. The boy scouts will be coming to our summer program for a week and will be doing derby races with the children! If you are remodeling or know of someone who is and would be willing to donate these please bring them by the Kids Corner building, and contact Liz Johnson in the church office.
