Trinity Episcopal Church is pleased to announce the schedule for its 2014 Christmas Services.

The Longest Night Service

Trinity will start the Christmas season with The Longest Night Service on December 21, 2013 at 5:00 PM.

The Longest Night Service is a Eucharistic service held on the evening of the winter solstice, literally the longest night. Everyone is invited, but this service is offered particularly for those who are grieving a loss, whoever or whatever that loss might be.

Special prayers, unction (anointing with holy oil), and holy communion make up this service which acknowledges the reality and pain of loss, but also holds fast to the sure and certain hope of the coming Christ light. 

The Longest Night Service will have childcare available.

Christmas Eve Services

Trinity is pleased to offer three services on Christmas Eve and will kick things off with the annual No Rehearsal Christmas Pageant and Children's service at 5:00 PM on December 24. This service is a favorite of the children (and adults) at Trinity, where your child gets to be whichever character from the Christmas story they desire. Costumes will be available for children beginning at 4:30 PM in the hallway next to the parlor.

This Holy evening concludes with two Rite II Eucharist services at 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM. The 11:00 PM service will have incense.

All services on Christmas Eve will have childcare available.

Christmas Day Service

On Christmas day, join us at 10:30 AM for a Rite II Eucharist Service. Children are welcome to bring one of their toys to be blessed during this service.

Epiphany Services and Celebration

Trinity will celebrate the Epiphany of the Lord on January 4, 2015 following our normal service schedule at 7:30 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The wise men and their camels will visit Trinity to celebrate the newborn Christ in the courtyard between the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services.
