Garden and Grounds Ministry

Paul and Tanya McKelvey will be moving to their new home in March.

On behalf of Trinity, I want to thank Paul for his devotion and hard work to our campus these past two years.  His efforts and talents have made our gardens and grounds a truly beautiful place.  His stewardship has been a blessing to us all.

We are looking for folks to become a part of this ministry and for an individual to head it.

We are also looking for someone to be in charge of our sprinkler system.  This involves changing broken sprinkler heads and turning the system on or off as rain dictates.  Any major repairs are done by the professional sprinkler company we use, so this does not require a great deal of knowledge about irrigation systems.

If you would like to become a part of this important ministry at Trinity, please contact Joanne Welker at 281-419-6237 or email me at

Family Potluck Dinner

Trinity will be hosting a potluck dinner for families with younger children on Saturday February 23rd. This will be an opportunity for fun and fellowship; a chance for parents to relax, for kids to play together and new friends to be made. We will meet in Butler Hall at 5.30pm but latecomers are welcome.

Please feel free to invite a friend or neighbor and their family too. All families are welcome!

Cleaning the Church

On Saturday, March 2, there will be an inside work party cleaning the narthex and nave. We will need window washers, pew cleaners, dusters, brass polishers, etc. We also need sandwich and refreshment folks. Please contact Joanne Welker at   or Mary Kay Davis at    if you can assist us.

Veterans Fellowship

Sunday, February 24, is "Fourth Sunday For the Vets". The Trinity Veterans Fellowship (TVF) will be, in front of the church, collecting your books, magazines, shaving & dental hygiene items, board games, used clothing and new socks & underwear, for the veterans at the De Bakey Veterans Hospital in Houston. Don't forget to ask your friends and neighbors if they have items to donate.  The TVF green foot locker is located next to the stage in Butler Hall, to drop off items at your convenience. Thank you for supporting our veterans in need
